List of Dangerous Goods (Table 4.2)
The IATA DGR Table 4.2 contains the complete list of dangerous goods authorized for air transport. Each entry includes the UN/ID number, Proper Shipping Name, class/division, subsidiary hazard, packing group, special provisions, quantity limits for passenger and cargo aircraft, and applicable packing instructions.
Column Structure
- A — UN/ID Number
- B — Proper Shipping Name
- C — Class/Division (Subsidiary Hazard)
- D — Labels
- E — State Variations
- F — Special Provisions
- G — UN Packing Group
- H-L — PAX / CAO Limits & PI
- M — ERG Code
Important Notes
- "Forbidden" means the substance is not permitted on any aircraft
- PAX limits apply to passenger and cargo aircraft
- CAO limits apply to cargo aircraft only
- Special provisions (SP) may modify default rules
- Always check State and Operator Variations (2.8)
