IATA DGR Hazard Classes

Explosives
PAX: RestrictedExplosive substances and articles (Divisions 1.1-1.6). Most divisions are FORBIDDEN on PAX aircraft.
Gases
PAX: RestrictedFlammable, non-flammable and toxic gases. Division 2.3 is FORBIDDEN on PAX aircraft.
Flammable Liquids
PAX: RestrictedLiquids with a flash point below 60°C. PG I is FORBIDDEN on PAX aircraft.
Flammable Solids
PAX: RestrictedSolid substances, self-reactive substances. Some substances are FORBIDDEN in air transport.
Spontaneously Combustible
PAX: ForbiddenSubstances liable to spontaneous combustion on contact with air. PG I is FORBIDDEN on both PAX and CAO.
Dangerous When Wet
PAX: RestrictedSubstances which emit flammable gases when in contact with water. PG I is generally FORBIDDEN.
Oxidizing Substances
PAX: RestrictedOxidizing substances that may cause or intensify combustion.
Organic Peroxides
PAX: RestrictedHeat-sensitive organic compounds. Type A is FORBIDDEN; Type B is CAO only.
Toxic Substances
PAX: RestrictedSubstances causing poisoning by ingestion, inhalation or skin contact. PG I inhalation is FORBIDDEN on PAX.
Infectious Substances
PAX: PermittedSubstances containing pathogenic micro-organisms. Category A is subject to special requirements.
Radioactive Material
PAX: RestrictedMaterials emitting ionizing radiation. Special packaging and activity limits apply.
Corrosives
PAX: RestrictedAcids and alkalis that destroy living tissue and damage materials.
Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods
PAX: RestrictedLithium batteries, environmentally hazardous substances, elevated temperature substances.
