Explosives

PAX: Restricted

Explosive substances and articles (Divisions 1.1-1.6). Most divisions are FORBIDDEN on PAX aircraft.

Gases

PAX: Restricted

Flammable, non-flammable and toxic gases. Division 2.3 is FORBIDDEN on PAX aircraft.

Flammable Liquids

PAX: Restricted

Liquids with a flash point below 60°C. PG I is FORBIDDEN on PAX aircraft.

Flammable Solids

PAX: Restricted

Solid substances, self-reactive substances. Some substances are FORBIDDEN in air transport.

4.2

Spontaneously Combustible

PAX: Forbidden

Substances liable to spontaneous combustion on contact with air. PG I is FORBIDDEN on both PAX and CAO.

4.3

Dangerous When Wet

PAX: Restricted

Substances which emit flammable gases when in contact with water. PG I is generally FORBIDDEN.

Oxidizing Substances

PAX: Restricted

Oxidizing substances that may cause or intensify combustion.

5.2

Organic Peroxides

PAX: Restricted

Heat-sensitive organic compounds. Type A is FORBIDDEN; Type B is CAO only.

6.1

Toxic Substances

PAX: Restricted

Substances causing poisoning by ingestion, inhalation or skin contact. PG I inhalation is FORBIDDEN on PAX.

Infectious Substances

PAX: Permitted

Substances containing pathogenic micro-organisms. Category A is subject to special requirements.

Radioactive Material

PAX: Restricted

Materials emitting ionizing radiation. Special packaging and activity limits apply.

Corrosives

PAX: Restricted

Acids and alkalis that destroy living tissue and damage materials.

Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods

PAX: Restricted

Lithium batteries, environmentally hazardous substances, elevated temperature substances.
